The Glass Pyramid Book Launch

at The Skyscraper Museum in NYC 
Saturday, Jun 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM

Discover the story of architect I. M. Pei and his iconic glass pyramid at the Louvre, then stick around for a hands-on activity where where Jeanne will personally guide kids in building their own mini paper pyramids.

 

This in-person program is free and open to families—reservations are required.

Sonoma Valley Authors Festival Students Day Speaker

Jeanne spoke to 1100 students at 3 Sonoma elementary schools and all received one of her books!

Jeanne has lots of experience talking to young students, both as an experienced picture book author speaker and as a credentialed teacher of Language Arts and writing workshops. She has also been a long-time docent for school groups at The Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.

 

Her 30-45 minute presentations are interactive, engaging, educational, and fun!  She can also include and lead art projects tied to the books. Here's a sampling of some of her Projects

 

In person or via zoom, Jeanne can speak at schools (from individual classrooms to school assemblies), bookstores, libraries and book groups.

 

She will customize her presentation and activities for your group. Jeanne loves visiting groups and sharing her experiences about writing books and inspiring readers!
